Usando las molas como inspiración, creamos un sistema modular para las neveras donde estas madres cabezas de familia pueden personalizar la ubicación y composición de cada módulo, estos módulos además de ser el facing de la nevera cumplen con una segunda función y es que dependiendo del tamaño sirven como salvamanteles o portavasos, haciendo que la marca salga más allá de la cocina y llegue a nuevos espacios del hogar.
Using the “molas” for inspiration, we create a modular system for the fridge facing, where the user, in this case the single mothers can personalize her own fridge because each module can move around the fridge and also can combine with other modules giving the possibility of change the appearance of the cover any time that the user wants, also del modules have a very important function and that is that each module is also a cup holder or a placemat for the dining table giving Kabay the possibility to take Haceb outside the kitchen to the rest of home.
Las madres cabezas de hogar quienes en Colombia representan el 80% del mercado son quienes tienen la decisión de compra sobre electrodomésticos o otros productos en el hogar, para nosotros, era fundamental reflejar todos los valores de la marca Haceb a partir de nuestras raíces Colombianas, por lo cual nuestra investigación nos arrojó a un grupo indígena Colombiano, caracterizado por el enaltecimiento de la mujer y donde son ellas quienes imponen y transmiten los símbolos culturales y formas de comunicación por medio de Molas, los tejidos tradicionales de este grupo étnico y parte fundamental de su vida y desarrollo.
The single mother represent the 80% of the market in Colombia, and who have the buying decision of the home, for us was very important reflect all the brand values having our Colombian roots for inspiration , that’s why we did an investigation which give us an Colombian aborigine group who has the women like the center of everything , is the women the person who takes all the decisions in the tribe and also who impart the education and the rules from their Molas which are the fabrics that their create to dress herself and their families
