For students who move to Bogotá for an abroad semester or for the ones who moves there for their studies is always hard to get a place to stay. Nowadays the university doesn’t have any housing building and this is one of the struggles for all the young people who is moving to the city because they are not that much offers for them. The rent is always expensive and people prefer rent their appartments to families than students.
After identify the opportunity my bachelor thesis answer to this need taking place in the border of the university campus. This five floors building answer not only to the academic request for the students, also make strong the student community and the values of the university and this is one of the strengths of the project. Having mixed uses and letting people of the Javeriana community join to the people who live there sharing few areas of the building.
